ALBUM [2014]
11 tracks of irreverent and sizzling 60s garage, punk rock and rock’n’roll, skillfully dosed by the Garage Queens.
An album born from a two-year gestation, and although the references are easily identifiable, while remaining true to their style, it explores new avenues, such as the turn of singing in Italian in no less than 4 songs.
By the band’s own admission, the all-female identity has been crucial in overcoming the obstacles that every underground band encounters on its way, and the desire to silence a certain creeping prejudice about women musicians has always been a strong incentive to continue.
